A Prayer For My Deceased Loved Ones

Your kindness and mercy
are boundless, O God.
I pray that my relatives and friends
who have died are resting peacefully
in your loving embrace.

By his agony and death on the cross,
your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord,
offered salvation to all.

I ask for salvation for my family and friends,
for everyone who is near and dear to me,
especially those who have died.

May they enjoy their eternal reward
in heaven with you and your angels
and saints.  Amen.
